Ross B Lane - Executive Chairman
Ross Lane is the 3rd generation of the Oroton founding family and has held various positions within the consolidated entity over the past 22 years, including holding the position of Managing Director of OrotonGroup Limited from 1996 to 2006. Ross is a member of the OrotonGroup Audit Committee and People and Organisation Committee.
Sally L Macdonald - Chief Executive Officer
Sally was appointed Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of OrotonGroup Limited in 2006. Sally’s prior work experience includes over 7 years as a management consultant with The Boston Consulting Group based in Melbourne and New York City where she worked on a diverse set of clients across cosmetic, tourism, music and media industries. Sally also worked at Banana Republic (a division of The Gap) in San Francisco across buying, planning and store operations, and graduated with an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce from Melbourne University.
John P Schmoll - Independent Non-Executive Director
John Schmoll was until 2002 Chief Financial Officer of Coles Myer Ltd. Prior to this he held senior corporate and professional roles in Australia and South Africa including Arthur Young and Edgars Stores Ltd (South Africa's largest apparel and home wares retailer). John currently holds the positions of Non-Executive Chairman of Breville Group Ltd and Patties Foods Ltd. Accordingly he brings to OrotonGroup over 35 years of experience in finance, investor relations, information technology, corporate governance and an extensive history in working with large-scale activities in major corporations. John is Chairman of the Audit Committee and Member of the OrotonGroup People and Organisation Committee.
Will Vicars - Non-Executive Director
Will Vicars is a director of Caledonia (Private) Investments Pty Limited, Caledonia Investments Pty Limited and the Caledonia Foundation Pty Ltd. Previous to that he was a Senior Portfolio Manager at NRMA Investments and later a Portfolio Manager at BT Australia. He has more than 15 years experience in a variety of financial markets and is a member of the NSW Board of the Starlight Children's Foundation and the St Luke's Hospital Foundation. Will is a member of the OrotonGroup Audit Committee and People and Organisation Committee.
Samuel S Weiss - Lead Independent Non-Executive Director
Sam Weiss joined the Board on 3 June 2003 as a Non-Executive Director and on 31 July 2003 was appointed Chairman of the Board. On 8 December 2006 he retired as Chairman in line with the directors' resolution to restructure the board. Sam is Chairman of Altium Ltd, Deputy Chairman of GLG Corporation Ltd, and an independent non-executive director of Breville Group Ltd, IPGA Ltd, Open Universities Australia, The Sydney Festival and the Benevolent Society. He is a graduate of Harvard University and the Columbia University School of Business Administration. Sam is also Chairman of the OrotonGroup People and Organisation Committee and Member of the Audit Committee.
Eddy Chieng - Non Executive Director
Eddy Chieng is a chartered accountant with extensive experience across personal care, licensed brand, logistics, property and resource companies in Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand and other ASEAN Countries. Eddy is currently a director of three companies, all listed on the Malaysian stock exchange - Executive Chairman of Esthetics International Group (EIG) Berhad, Chairman of Selangor Dredging Berhad and Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of QL Resources Berhad. Eddy is also a Member of the OrotonGroup Audit Committee and People and Organisation Committee.

Ana-Maria Escobar, Creative Director
Ana-Maria joined OrotonGroup in 2006 as Head of Design and was promoted to Creative Director to lead all product design, buying, website and visual and brand development aspects for the Oroton brand in 2007. With a Bachelor of Industrial Design from University Pontificia Bolivariana, (Medellin, Colombia) and a Bachelor of Fashion and Textile Design from UTS (Sydney, Australia). Ana has over 10 years experience working across a number of leading apparel, shoe, accessory and fashion brands in Australia and internationally.
Kevin Fine, Chief Financial Officer/Company Secretary
Kevin joined OrotonGroup 29th January 2007 and is a current member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. Past experience in Audit and Advisory includes Arthur Andersen, Moores Rowland and Ernst & Young, and in retail includes Shoprite Holdings Ltd (South Africa) and Specialty Fashion Group as Head of Finance.
Mark Newman, Vice President – Polo Ralph Lauren, Australia & NZ
Mark joined OrotonGroup in April 2010. Mark’s past work experience includes retail, buying, marketing and general management roles with the apparel brand Hackett in London and the Richemont owned luxury goods brand Alfred Dunhill. He has extensive experience of the European, US and Asian markets, having spent 3 years in Japan and 8 years in Hong Kong as Managing Director of the Asia Pacific Region for Alfred Dunhill.
Bronwyn Sherratt, Human Resources Manager
Bronwyn joined OrotonGroup in September 2003 and held various roles across the HR function before being appointed HR Manager in October 2006. Prior to OrotonGroup, Bronwyn had several years experience in recruitment across a number of industries, including FMCG and Government. Bronwyn holds a Bachelor Degree from Sydney University with a double major in Psychology and Industrial Relations and Post Graduate Diploma in HR.
